Students: Save All Work To A Jump Drive

To prevent viruses, spyware, and adware, all computers in the labs have been installed with DeepFreeze.  This software resets the computer to its original state after a restart.  Any changes made to the computer are completely erased!  So please print out your work or attach it to an email to yourself.

Faculty/Staff: There has been a rise in the amount of Viruses on the computers in the Athletic Department.

In general it's a good idea to always apply updates if the following applications ask you to do so:
Windows Update
Acrobat/Acrobat Reader
Java
Flash

All faculty/staff computers should have Norton Anti-Spyware installed.
If you get a message from any other application warning of a virus: DO NOT FOLLOW ITS ADVICE.

- Please ensure that your computer has an anti-virus software with the latest updates installed on your computer.
- Please make sure that it is set to scan your computer on a regular basis. Do not disable.
- Please take the time to assure that faculty/staff computers are not left alone without logging out / Passwords.
- Please be weary of any strange messages and links via Email, Facebook, etc...
- Please don't install any applications without taking the proper precautions.

If you think you have a virus or need help assuring you are protected, please Email Craig
